The ISO 9001 certification brought Metal Group greater optimization of its processes and organizational performance, having greater control in the administration of its processes, improving productivity, reducing waste and achieving better results. The certification brings more confidence and credibility to its customers due to the commitment transmitted with the quality management and its products.
The GHG (Greenhouse Gas) inventory is a way of identifying, mapping and quantifying the sources of emissions from Metal Group’s activities, in which after the inventory process by a third-party company, the company requested an audit by a certifying body in order to bring even more veracity to the data and information reported.
The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) was used. It is a methodology developed by the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) that provides a set of standards and guidelines for quantifying and managing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from organizations, projects and activities.
