Bare Copper Wire – Drawn

Produced from electrolytic copper rod, the Naked Copper Wires are used in several applications due to their strength, malleability, resistance to corrosion and the high conductivity, becoming essential mainly for the electronic and electrical industries.
With diameters of 1.45 – 1.51 – 1.83 and 2.05 mm, the thinner wires are ideal for low-power    projects and the thicker ones are recommended for higher-power projects.

The drawn copper wires are industrialized using the UP Cast process, which produces 8.00mm OFHC copper rods. The standard gauges provided are:

Applications: Low, medium and high voltage electrical conductors; electronics, automotive, telephony and telecommunications, civil construction, etc.

The Oxyfree Copper Wire (OFHC):
OFHC copper wire, is an industrialization product made through the process of drawing OFHC copper rebar 8,00 mm
The gauges supplied are: OFHC copper wire – 1,45mm – 1,51mm – 1,83mm – 2,05mm.

Copper Wire RAF:
RAF copper wire, is an industrialization product made through the process of drawing RAF copper rebar 8.00 mm
The gauges supplied are: RAF copper wire – 1,83 mm and 1,45 mm.

Performance
and Durability

Copper is a malleable metal with high resistance to corrosion, which stands out for its performance and durability compared to other metals. Due to its excellent electrical conductivity, it has become essential for several segments of industries and markets, such as civil construction, automotive, electronics, telecommunications, naval and aeronautics.

In addition to its several applications, copper also stands out for its storage and conservation, waste reduction, processing and extending the life cycles of various products. These characteristics make copper one of the main metals for the economic development of our country.

Energy Sector

Copper is an essential component for electrical products and systems, with a characteristic widely used by the energy industry, used in energy distribution networks, input or internal. It is also present in electrical wires and cables, circuit breakers, switches, sockets, among others.

The use of copper also improves the efficiency of electronic equipment during its execution, with the advantage of lower energy consumption, contributing to lower CO2 emissions.

White and brown
line sector

In the White Line and Brown Line sector, copper is used by the industry for use in products with high voltage electrical systems, due to its resistance to corrosion and deformation.

Playing an important role in construction and execution, systems and product designs using copper often result in more compact and secure solutions.
